Affempreneurs work started in 2021 to tackle systemic barriers faced by young women micro-entrepreneurs within Sub-Saharan Africa, including:

  • Lack of business and financial training
  • Limited access to mentorship
  • Poor access to capital
  • Minimal mental health and wellbeing support
